Day 1–(Friday) February 12th ARENAL

Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport. You will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by your local guide. Private transportation (approx. 3 hours) will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. 

During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Paraiso Hotel Resort and Spa. The Arenal Paraiso Hotel Resort and Spa offers guests an affordable eco-resort option in front of the ever-impressive Arenal Volcano.

After we check-in, we will meet for our welcome dinner with the group.

Day 2–(Saturday) February 13th ARENAL
After our abundant breakfast, we will head into the rainforest. The Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the treetops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. All of the 15 bridges vary in height and length and provide an interesting way to observe the rainforest canopy, In addition to learning about the jungle, you may also be fortunate enough to see wild animals such as monkeys, sloths, toucans, or iguanas. After our morning tour quests can choose to stay have lunch and Zip-line or come back into town and explore. The group will for dinner at a local spot in the town of Fortune.

Day 3–(Sunday) February 14th  ARENAL

After another great breakfast, all guests will have the choice to take it easy or get active. You will have your choice of one of the following tour options:

  1. A) Safari Float on the Rio Penas Blancas. This is a great tour for those that want the fun of whitewater rafting without the rapids. The safari float is done on a rafting boat, but at a much slower pace on a gently rolling river which creates a fun way to observe wildlife along the river edge.

  2. B) Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary for this half-day adventure. Our last night in Arenal let's hit the town for some local grub! We will stop at a "Sodas" family-style restaurants that offer up local cuisine.

Day 4–(Monday) February 12th — Coffee Plantation and Manuel Antonio National Park

After breakfast, private transportation (approx. 5 hours) will be provided to the Manuel Antonio area which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm-studded beaches in Costa Rica and an abundance of wildlife in the national park. Along the way, we will stop for a coffee tour and lunch. After we check-in we will hop on a shuttle bus and explore town(5min drive) dinner on your own.

Day 5–(Tuesday) February 13th

Manuel Antonio National Park

This morning we will take a safari to explore the park, loaded with wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, toucans, and parrots. With a little luck and cooperation from Mother Nature, your bilingual naturalist guide will lead the way pointing out an abundance of wildlife, flora, and fauna

Day 6 –(Wednesday) February 14th

The Catamaran Cruise is a great way to observe tropical islands, marine life and the beautiful Pacific coastline in style! After cruising along and taking in the scenery we will stop to snorkel. Species that are frequently spotted on this trip include whales, dolphins, sea turtles and various tropical fish species making this a highlight for many!

 Day 7 Thursday, February 15th — Free Day

Explore on your own. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm-studded beaches of the Pacific coast. The beach is a 15 min walk from our Hotel. We will all meet for dinner to say goodbye to Costa Rica!

Day 8 Friday, February 16, 2019 — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation (approx. 3 hours) will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight.
